Sound insulation is a key quality aspect in modern timber construction, especially in multi-storey building construction. There, building acoustics are becoming increasingly important, leading to higher sound insulation requirements.
With SonoTec V2, we are expanding our range in the field of timber engineering with a high-performance solution for the targeted decoupling of load-bearing components.
SonoTec V2 linear bearings have been specially developed for demanding applications in which the transmission of flanking noise is significantly minimised. A key advantage is that the use of linear bearings achieves a real sound insulation value R'W of up to 7 dB.
The bearings thus make a measurable contribution to improving the effectiveness of acoustic decoupling.
